Trial boards There shall be two trial boards after the toss and before the start of the match for each player or pair. These trial boards should be only for five minutes ( 2 ½ minutes per player or 2 ½ minutes per side) ) Turn to Play 51 Out of turn If a player plays out of turn, before the Umpire could control, one penalty should be taken out and he will lose the turn and if the above remains unnoticed till the next stroke is made, the turn shall be continued by the player as per the laws. Time Limit In all eight board matches - each match should be restricted to one hour or 25 points whichever comes first. From quarter finals onwards it will be full games of 25 points without time limit. Dues and Penalties 83 If more than one c/m are to be placed by a player as Due or Penalty all the c/m available shall be placed immediately (within 15 sec ) 84 However, while placing Due/penalty c/m holding the Striker in the other hand is permitted, but not holding anything solid or otherwise in the placing hand. Queen 94 a. If the centre circle is partially or completely covered by other c/m, the Queen shall be placed towards North, East, West, South by the Umpire so that it will not be a Cannon to any pocket. 95. c However, if after recovery of due and or penalty, all nine c/m are on the C/B, a Player shall have the right to pocket the Queen and cover it. In the subsequent stroke after pocketing the Queen and while covering the Queen he pockets the c/m with the Striker, two c/m should be taken out for placing. But since there is one minus, the Queen shall be taken out for placing by the umpire as per the Laws, but his turn will continue. (This is nowhere in the rules book)
113 If the Queen or C/m resting perilously at the mouth of the pocket actually falls into the pocket for any reason, It should be taken out by the umpire and replaced as far as possible in the same place as soon as it happens.
136 a. The player shall be permitted to keep the Striker on the Frame of the C/B, or hold it in his other hand while placing the Due or Penalty C/M.
